My name is Rajat Kapoor. My journey in Vedic Astrology started a few years ago and in no time I discovered my love for the cosmos.
Unlike traditional Jyotish practitioners, I am self-taught. I read a lot and continuously apply this divine knowledge in my writing & research so, I have a lot of teachers & gurus that I bow to. I leverage from the ancient texts and apply them in the modern world to help individuals make the most in their good times and sail through the rough waters as required.

As a psychologist, my approach is grounded in clarity and empowerment—free from fear-mongering. The consultations involve pre-work about the past events, understanding the present strengths and opportunity areas and predicting the future events. The remedies that I suggest are easy to do, involves no cost (unless a gemstone) and are dependent on individual's horoscope and something that he/she can do.
The consultations build on genuine, meaningful communication with my clients—offering insights that are honest, practical, and truly legit.
Readings and Consultations
All personalized readings & consultations are done live via Zoom and I will spend time in advance on your horoscope to make the most of the consultation. You will be given a recording of the consultation for future reference. In-person consultations are exclusively available in Dubai.

What is Vedic astrology, and how is it different from Western astrology?Vedic astrology, also known as Jyotish Shastra, is an ancient Indian system based on the sidereal zodiac, while Western astrology uses the tropical zodiac. Vedic astrology places greater emphasis on the Ascendant(Rising) & Moon sign, Rashis (Zodiac signs) and Nakshatras (lunar constellations) rather than just the Sun sign and rising sign, which is the focus of Western astrology. Moreover, the calculations have more precision in the sidereal zodiac that looks at the exact position of the planets in the sky at the given time.

4. How are planets categorized in Vedic astrology?Planets are divided into benefic (favorable) and malefic (challenging) categories. Benefic planets include Jupiter and Venus, while malefic planets include Saturn, Mars, Sun (krura) Rahu, and Ketu. Moon & Mercury act based on their strength and influence of other planets by aspect & conjunction. Sun, Moon and Jupiter are Satva grahas. Mercury & Venus are rajas grahas. Saturn, Mars, Rahu & Ketu are tamas grahas. Sun is a krura (dominance) graha. Moon, Jupiter and Venus are saumya (gentle) grahas. Saturn, Mars, Rahu & Ketu are paap (envious) grahas. Mercury behaves based on influence from other planets.
