The importance of Navamsa lagna or ascendant sign.
The Navamsa or D9 chart is one of the most important divisional charts for predictions, timing of events and most importantly remedies that can change your life for better. One of the things that many students of astrology miss assessing are the actions that one is supposed to take in life. The D9 chart gives you indications of what you should be doing. This chart is your karmic blueprint that is activated since your birth and your future depends heavily on it.
It all begins with the ascendant sign in the Navamsa chart and which house it is connected to in your Rashi or D1 chart. Lets say that you are a Libra ascendant with Scorpio Navamsa. This means that your 2nd house of the Rashi chart has become your Navamsa lagna. You are the protector of wealth. Your duty is to save or accumulate wealth. Your duty is also to protect your family, feed yourself and your family. What you consume in terms of feeding yourself or the food should be given prime importance.
If lets say your 9th house becomes the Navamsa lagna, then you are very obedient and you must be the protector of your dharma. Travel long distance when you can and it will help you in your growth.
If your 6th house becomes your Navamsa lagna then, please make enemies your friends. The more you will do it, the better will be your life. Join hands with your competition.
One of my clients had 12th house of the Rashi as the Navamsa lagna. Such a person must not live in his homeland and should move abroad or at least away from the home town as early as they can. That was my immediate advice to him. There was a remarkable change in life since that movement that he never thought of in the past.
