Graha Avatara and Vishnu Kendra

Dasa Vishnu Avtara

  • Sun – Rama
  • Moon – Krishna
  • Mars – Narsimha
  • Mercury – Buddha
  • Jupiter – Vāmana
  • Venus – Parashurama or Bhārgava
  • Saturn – Kūrma (Turtle)
  • Rahu – Varaha or Sūkara (Boar)
  • Ketu – Matsaya or Mīna (Fish)
  • Lagna – Kalki

Vasudeva incarnated as a graha to:

Destroy the strength of the evil, daitya and  rakshasa (Hrim)

Increase the strength of deva, gods and the illuminated beings (Shrim)

Most importantly to establish Dharma, righteousness and truth (Klim)

We use the bija for this purpose in the mantras. (Most important point to note)

The incarnation of Vishnu appears or is born when the concerned graha is able to channelize excessive paramatmamsa.

Four Kendra Vishnu Sthana

  • Sunrise – East – Lagna = Narsimha avtara
  • Midday – South – 10th house = Rama avtara
  • Sunset – West – 7th bhava = Varaha avtara
  • Midnight – North – 4th house = Krishna avtara

Kendra Bal – These four incarnations are with 100% paramatmamsa. That is why a planet in kendra house (1,4,7,10) gets 60 Sastiamsa i.e 100%, a planet in 2, 5, 8, 11 gets 30 Sastiamsa i.e 50% and a planet in 3, 6, 9, 12 gets 15 Sastiamsa i.e 25%.

Shri Ram is the path for Raaj yoga

Shri Krishna is the path for Moksha

Shri Narsimha is the path for Self Actualization

Shri Varaha is the path for all Bhoga (7th house is important for good rebirth)
